Using the Sleeper Sofa at The Getaway

We partnered with renowned, local leather furniture craftsmen to bring an unparalleled sleeper sofa experience to The Getaway. This queen sleeper sofa is light, simple to operate and offers a hybrid mattress that inflates to a thickness of up to 8 inches. The result is a sofa that sleeps like a mattress and leaves you feeling more prepared to enjoy your vacation. Follow the simple steps below to operate The Getaway’s sleeper sofa.

 

Step 1: Move the coffee table away from the sofa and rug area

Step 2: Remove the cushions from the sofa and store in a preferred location

Step 3: Using the built-in handle, left the mattress away from the sofa

Step 4 : Allow the middle support legs to fully extend and rest on the floor

Step 5: Fully extend the sleeper bed and allow all of the support legs to rest on the floor

Step 6: Pull the remote from behind the sofa and press the inflate button, stopping where you like based on how firm you want your mattress to be or when the motor sound indicates that it is no longer inflating the mattress.

Note: If your remote is not responding to inflate/defalte button presses, press the ‘RESET’ button on the outlet plug in order to reset the unit.

Step 7: With the mattress inflated to your preference, remove the sheets and pillows from the downstairs closet beside the kitchen and apply to the sleeper mattress as desired

Step 8: Place the sofa cushions behind the sleeper sofa mattress to improve neck support and overall experience

Step 9: Press the deflate button on your remote to fully remove the air from your mattress, pressing ‘stop’ when the motor has stopped forcing air out of the mattress

After you have fully deflated your mattress, return your sofa to original condition by repeating steps 1-8 in reverse order
